Terms of Service

Last updated: May 7, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PressRun ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. We may update these terms at any time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use PressRun. By signing up, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Keep your password secure and not share it with others
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

4. Platform Services

PressRun provides music promotion tools including campaign management, curator matching, pitch generation, and outreach across multiple channels (playlists, radio, press, podcasts, creators, and sync). We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle — no partial refunds are provided.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price increase takes effect on their next billing cycle.
  • Free-tier users are subject to feature and usage limits as described on the Pricing page.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all music, artwork, and content you upload to PressRun. By using the Platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use your content solely for the purpose of operating the service — for example, including your track details in pitches sent to curators on your behalf.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload, and that it does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.

7. Curator Terms

If you register as a curator on PressRun:

  • You agree to review pitches in good faith and respond within a reasonable timeframe
  • Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect and are subject to a minimum withdrawal threshold
  • PressRun reserves the right to remove curators who engage in fraudulent activity or consistently fail to review submissions

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or to promote unlawful content
  • Submit fraudulent campaigns, fake streams, or misleading information
  • Attempt to exploit, hack, or reverse-engineer the Platform
  • Harass, abuse, or send unsolicited messages to curators outside of the Platform
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits or abuse promotional offers

9. No Guarantees

PressRun facilitates connections between artists and curators but does not guarantee placements, streams, airplay, press coverage, or any specific outcome. Results depend on many factors including the quality of your music, the preferences of curators, and market conditions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PressRun and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to PressRun in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your access to campaign data and platform features will be revoked.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules, unless otherwise required by local law.
